Responsibilities include:
Serve as the public relations representative for Biola University. Responsible for developing and maintaining the University's relationships and public image with key influencing agencies, special publics and persons who directly or indirectly support or promote the University through media relations and the community. Serve as assistant director to lead and facilitate communications to the internal constituents of the University and media representatives for public relations efforts. Serve as the community relations specialist.
Lead in the planning for, completion of, and growth of internal communications projects, including print and web publications, electronic communications, strategic plans and media relations projects. Serve as a key member of the crisis communications management team during campus emergencies and will serve as a backup to the vice president during campus emergencies and crisis communications when needed. Will be responsible for contributing to professional writing and editorial content in the production of print and electronic marketing materials as needed for the areas of public and media relations, internal communications and community relations.
